Step by Step 

SO

This is my very first post (as you all see). The question is: What am I supposed to write?
None of my ideas was satisfying enough for the first remarkable post.
I created this blog because there are many thoughts in my head and I would love sharing them with you. But have you ever been wondering, why people all over the world are blogging? 

In my opinion, a blog is comparable to a diary. In former times, people were hiding their written dreams, thoughts and fears. They were afraid of the embarassement, that anyone could read their inner secrets. Nowadays we are searching (more than ever) for companionship and due to the anonymity of the internet we are more courageous. We are sharing our cogitations, hoping for support and recognition in a world, where marks and efficiency are more important than the individual. 
Perhaps we need the anonymity in order to find at least one person, that would listen to us. 
Perhaps we need it, because it is the only place, where we can be honest.

This sounds quite sad and even a bit selfish, but it is what I believe in.
After all, being selfish is not the worst thing on earth. Especially not, if others can relate to your words and find like-minded people. This is what I am hoping for: Being found by people, I can inspirate. And finding people, that can inspirate me. Sounds like a fair exchange, doesn't it?

That's it. This is the first post and it is not brilliant, unique or crazy. I'am really sorry if I annoyed anyone, but I had to be honest with myself and (more importantly) with you. You are my readers and I wanted a fresh start.
In case you made it to the last paragraph, congratulations! I'd like to give you a hug, a flower or simply my happy smile, but I am afraid that's not possible... It would be great, if you came by more often. Stay tuned and don't miss the next post!
